Home/Search interface
Upon search, a brief introduction to the gene/protein characteristics is present.
Gene links to GeneCard, Protein and Protein function link to Protein sequence and its function (UniProt).
Furthermore when necessary Catalytic activity allows to obtain information on EC number/s associated to the protein.
Link to Publications (UniProt) allows a direct evaluation of the protein studies. In addition, different other descriptors are present, including:

Structure
This section links to the AlphaFold model. In addition, when available, users can find PDB name/s and code/s with the protein resolution linked to PDB.
GO termGene Ontology terms are linked according to their classification into Molecular Function (MF),
Biological Process (BP) and Cellular Component (CC). The section provides the corresponding code and description for each Included Go Term.
ECO codes, providing information on the source of Go term are also present.
InterPro/Pfam
Links to the InterPro and Pfam data bases are present for the protein at hand.
Reactome
Links are provided to the Reactome data base and to its hierarchical classification into root, internal node and leaf.
Subcellular location
This section contains information on the cell compartments where the protein is present (among the nine well-established macro compartments).
PubMed references and associated ECO terms when available are reported.
Interactor, variant and drug
The user can link the protein variome as accessible in Uniprot (protein variant viewer), to the protein/s interacting (Uniprot, IntaAct)
and to the drugs available (when possible) through GeneCard.
Phenotype
This section provides details regarding the Human Phenotype Ontology (HPO) code/s and its corresponding name/s for the designated protein entry,
allowing to gather information on phenotypic characteristics.
Tissue and Cell type
This section provides information on tissue and cell type, together with their expression levels and associated reliability index. These data are sourced from Human Protein Atlas (HPA).
Diseases
This section encompasses references to our dataset by gathering information from UniProt, Humsavar, Monarch, and Clinvar. The collected data are categorised using MONDO, ICD10, Orphanet, and OMIM classification systems. The section includes details regarding the disease name and its corresponding descriptions from MONDO, ICD10, OMIM, and Orphanet.
Advanced search and Browse interfaces
They enable the refined filtering and extraction of proteins with combined properties. This encompasses the retrieval of protein entries linked to multiple associated codes
